Multiple Teams · Winter Sports Tryouts


Girls Soccer:

Try-outs for all freshmen and anyone else who was NOT on either the JV or Varsity team last year will begin on Oct. 29 @ 6:30 pm on the new turf field. Try-outs for this group will go from Oct. 29-Nov. 9, 6:30-8 pm. Bring full soccer gear, shin guards, cleats, and running shoes as well.

Try-outs for all returning M-A players will begin on Nov. 5 , 6:30-8 pm on the new turf. These try-outs will last from Nov. 5-16.

If you have to miss a day of try-outs due to a club commitment, please let Coach Luce or Coach Snow know about it. Just to be completely clear, it is OK for you to try-out for your high school team while your club season is still active; you just can’t participate in games for both club and high school at the same time.

Boys Soccer:

Try-outs will start on 11/7 and 11/9, 6-8pm on the new turf. Bring full gear, cleats, shinguards, everything!

Girls Wrestling:

“Trial Week” for all girls interested in joining M-A girls wrestling team will be from October 29 to November 2nd from 4:30pm-5:30pm in the Wrestling Room.
Bring: workout clothes, extra pair of clean socks, training shoes (running, tennis, cross trainer shoes), water
Unlike some sports, M-A girls wrestling does not have cuts. However we are limited space and will reserve the space to those most interested in learning.

Boys Basketball:

Here is when and where each team will hold try-outs. This will start on 10/29 and last the entire week in the New Gym.
Frosh: 5:30-7 pm
JV: 7-9 pm
Varsity: 3:30-5:30 pm

Girls Basketball:

Here is when and where each team will hold try-outs. This will start on 10/29 and last the entire week in Ayers Gym. Everyone should meet on the track at 6 pm on 10/29.

10/29: 6:00-8:00 p.m.

10/30: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

10/31: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

11/1: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

11/2: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
